I believe in One God, who exists (eternally) in three persons – the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God (Luke 1:35; Matthew 16:15-17), and that He is God incarnate (John 10:30).
I believe that Jesus came to Earth to die for the sins of mankind (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24); that He was crucified at Calvary (John 19:17), was buried for three days and nights in the earth (Matthew 12:40), and was resurrected by the power of God (Luke 24:6; Matthew 28:6).
I believe that salvation is a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9), received (only) by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; Acts 16:30-31; Romans 10:9-10).
I believe that following one’s profession of faith, she is to be baptized, as Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Baptism does not save; however, it is a mandate for those who have been saved. (If you’d like to learn more about baptism, click here.)
I believe that the only way to the Father is through His Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6; John 3:16).
I believe that the Bible is the infallible words of God (Proverbs 30:5), “and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12).
I believe that God wants everyone to come to the knowledge of truth, to repent, and to be saved (Ezekiel 18:23, 32; 2 Peter 3:9).
