About

welcome

Hello, Ladies,

Welcome to Sisters With Christ!

Founded in 2016, the mission of Sisters With Christ is to encourage (fellow) Christian women in their walks with Christ, and to admonish them to live their lives for Him, wholeheartedly, and to make His Word their sole authority.

The world we live in today is filled with lies masked as truth (this phenomenon is alive and well in the church also, sadly).  In order to distinguish between what is truth and what is not, we must delve deep into God’s Word daily, and spend time with Him regularly, to know His voice and truths from that of the enemy’s lies.

That said, it is my prayer that together we will stand steadfastly on God’s truth, that we’ll rest in His eternal promises, and that we’ll take solace in the fact that although we face troubles of many kinds this side of Heaven, they’re only temporary (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).  We have an eternal home awaiting us that’s not been made by human hands, and that will be far more glorious than anything we have ever seen and anything we could ever imagine.

P.S. In case you’re wondering about the title of the blog, Sisters With Christ, I believe it was given because, as adopted children of God, we are sisters.  That’s the first part.  Secondly, upon submitting to Christ as our Lord and Savior, His Spirit came to live within us; therefore Christ lives within us, making us Sisters With Christ!  (We are sisters with Christ’s spirit living within us.)

Verification, via Romans 8:15-17 (ESV):

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba!  Father!”  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with Him in order that we may be glorified with Him.

And there you have it, sisters.

Welcome!
